Action: 3

The Toronto game is not a combat intensive game. However, we do recognize that PC's want to break out and kill some monster every now and then. For those martially oriented players there will be some bug hunts and barroom brawls available.

Character Development: 4

The World of Darkness is a place of no easy answers. Characters will have to make tough choices on decisions throughout the course of a story. The consequences of those decisions will be tracked and further stories developed from them.

Darkness: 2

Whether a pc lives or dies will be up to the player. Given a chance to, a player will not be forced into a no win situation. This means the st's will not pull punches, but a clear avenue of escape will be presented, for pc's to leave.

Drama: 3

The Toronto Court is a traditional Invictus Court with some small modifications. However it is a somewhat stable court, and though there is an overarching background plot, it is the player characters who are the stars. It is the PC's who will be driving the Drama of the Toronto game.

Intrigue: 5

Politics is a tough business, and the Invictus are very good at it. The players are encouraged to concentrate on political skills and rivalries. The city is set up to encourage factional fighting and competitive land holding. There will be some local ascendancy rules to take into account these circumstances.

In order to hold citizenship in Toronto, every Toronto resident holds territory. The more important you are the better your landholdings, either in size or value. There will be competition for some of the better properties, and a constant jockeying for people to stay out of the Red and Yellow zones. Nothing worse than being exiled from the Green zone to somewhere uncivilized (unsafe).

Manners: 5

The Prince of the city is a former Harpy. One of the largest Regents is a formal harpy. The Court is a formal Invictus court. As a result social etiquette is a very important part of the Toronto game. Those that follow the rules of proper behaviour and decorum will be rewarded and those that behave like boor's will be ostracized.

Mystery: 5

Toronto is a different place. Much of the old court has died during the last revolution and during the curse. Creatures and other 'things' have moved in to take over various parts of city services. The player characters are not the top of the heap in the city. They will have to make deals with other things to get what they want.

Furthermore there are many things and secrets lost and hidden throughout the city. The old courts had many secrets and lore attached to them, long forgotten by the current inhabitants. They are there to be discovered by those who go seeking them.

Pace: 4

Stories will develop at a steady rate in the game. There will be 3 month plots, plus a yearly story arc. Also every pc will have a plot sent there way over the course of the year.

Proxy rules - Per Camarilla Addendum. Storytellers reserve the right to limit proxy to certain scenes based on ST resource restrictions.

Visiting characters guidelines - ST notification requested though we will make every effort to accomodate visiting characters

Experience award guidelines – 4 xp a session plus 2 for downtimes. There are several games in Hamilton , London and online for players to achieve their monthly cap.

Character restrictions - Bloodlines and local lineages are being developed for PC's to join. The st staff insist all players join a lineage either local or from outside the city. Many of these lineages have one or more bloodlines for pcs to join.

Theme/Mood

Toronto is a city of multiple cultures and values, safely nestled in the heart of Ontario. It is one of the largest cities in North America, and is world famous as movie capitol. However its streets have started to rot, and city services have started to fall to misuse. While the rich and powerful frolick in abandon in the safety of the Green Zone, armed guards keep a watchful eye on the teeming mass's pushed out into the unsafe yellow zone. Dark forces gather and rule the streets in the lawless red zones. Creatures old and powerful have been drawn here for various nefarious purposes.
